We are currently recruiting for an experienced Digital Content Executive to join the busy team in Head Office
Location – Head Office, Royal Avenue, Belfast
Contract – Permanent, full time, 40 hours per week Monday – Friday
Salary – £24,000 – £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
JOB SUMMARY
Joining a team of 2 in the busy Ecommerce Department in Head Office, if successful, you will be responsible for driving organic traffic to the website by writing engaging, clear ecommerce sales copy to promote our products. You will be one of the main points of contact between the ecommerce team and brands as well as the inhouse graphic designer and marketing team, to ensure artwork for emails and on site are available.
Responsibilities
- Planning, writing and refining engaging, SEO optimised content that adds value to the customer and drives organic traffic to Argento website
- Writing product descriptions for use on the website and managing all product attributes
- Updating website content as needed, ensuring all-round consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
- Manage the ecommerce marketing calendar adding all relevant information and promotions to be shared with the team and 3rd parties
- Working with other members of the ecommerce and marketing team to create engaging content for onsite and emails
- You will manage the email marketing calendar, planning its content and providing content/brief for design
- Monitoring the success of email marketing campaigns and reporting/ making changes where necessary
- Testing, segmenting and scheduling email campaigns
- Being a point of contact between the ecommerce team and brands to ensure the most relevant and up to date content remains on site
- Working with the graphic designer and marketing team, to create artwork for emails and on site, and ensure the copy fits the needs of the product
Essential Criteria
- Degree in Marketing or a Business-related degree with a marketing specialism
- At least 2 years work experience as a copywriter or similar role
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English
- Proficient with spelling and grammar
- Proven experience in creating engaging content
- Experience and knowledge around social media marketing, email and optimisation
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- IT confident; experience of using all Microsoft Office packages with excellent Outlook, Excel
- Self-confident, reliable, motivated and able to work under pressure
- Ability to work to tight deadlines, working independently and as part of a team
